I know I have not posted for a while, but I have been sick and just not feeling up to it so let me catch you up on what I have been doing. On December 12th Jamie and I had a fun day. We went to St. George and walked a 1 K walk for a kid at my school who has stage four cancer. It was 32 degrees outside--very cold. I did take my camera, but was to cold to take any pictures. I huffed and puffed through the walk, but felt really good that I had done something for someone else. Then Jamie and I did some Christmas shopping and got snowed on. Then we hung out at my brother and sister in laws house until it was time for our Jones family Christmas Party. I also had my camara for that event, but forgot it in the car. OOPS! We started out at Pirate Pizza where Jamie and I ordered their Chicken Ranch Pizza (Highly Recommended) and we visited then we went over to the Nativity Festival. My favorite Nativity that I saw was of the manger scene with the angel's wings wrapped around it. I love angels. Then we went to Aunt Paula's house for a little while. I really had a great time. I loved visiting with my family and looking at the nativity's really got me into the spirit of Christams and the real reason we celebrate the season.
At the first of December Jamie and I took a short fast weekend trip to California to see Jamie's friend Delilah who had just had a baby and was having her blessed that Sunday. Since we had bought annual passes to Disneyland we got to go to the theme park for a little while also. I got sick over the weekend and so we didn't do a whole lot, but here are some pictures.

Mickey is all ready for Christmas!

It's a small world was open so we rode on it twice because we always go during Halloween/Nevada Day and it is always closed to be decorated for Christams.

This is a picture of our train conductor at Disneyland. Before I left one of my student's wrote in his Journal that he hoped that Miss Jones got to ride a train when she went to California, so this is proof that I did ride a train.

They had a special presentation for the movie The princess and the frog. That would be soon coming out in theatres. Jamie and I have said that we are going to go see it sometime.

Okay Bulldog fans do not look. This is Miss Jones on Pirate Island which used to be Tom Sawyer Island I wanted to see the changes because we had not visited the island for a while.

Look I found the treasure!

We lucked out on this picture. We had just got off a ride and ran into Eeyore. Jamie had to have a picture!

We also saw the turkey that President Obama pardoned just a few weeks earlier for Thanksgiving. Who would have thought it would be shown at Disneyland?

The real reason we went to California. Welcome baby Korina. (Delilah's daughter.) They had a little party Staurday night.

Delilah Baby Korina and a proud grandma Becky Christensen!

Baby Korina!

A better picture of Baby Korina. She is so perfect and beautiful! She really liked Jamie. She would stop crying when Jamie held her, but if anyone else tried she would start crying again.

The castle at Disneyland was so beautiful all lit up for Christmas it was a very pretty blue. These were taken right after it snowed on us.

Another castle picture so pretty.

The castle and some trees all lit up for Christamas!
